Hello from Diva number two. I love being a DIVA, and like Connie said, it isn't all about the image that you may conjure up.
As Divas we are Divinely Chosen, Inspired, Valued and Amazing.
There aren't many people who could do what we do, travel together, share a bathroom, sleep in the same room, and she neglected to say, bring my mother along. Now that's a true friend.
We argue over who is going to pick up the tab, and yesterday, when I complemented Connnie on her earrings one more time, a beautiful blingy pair from Premiere, she proceeded to take them out of her ears on the spot and give them to me!
I found beautiful yard and have been knitting up a storm. We hiked way too much today; I think in the order of ten or so miles, and stopped for a capucinno and apple strudel on the way back and had probably the worst service I have expereinced in a long time. But the apple strudel was to die for. And I had mine mitt shlagg. That would be "with whipped cream." Ah, heaven.
And that is why we will also be sharing our diet tips, trials and tribulations with you in our other blog, the dieting divas, so stay tuned to live a life of travel and trimming through us vicariously.

Austria Here We Come!
After having done three trips with my dear diva friend, Kathy, I must admit, there are very few people that can do what we do.
Traveling for ten days at a time and still remaining friends is a fine art. If you haven't had the joy of being on trains, planes and automobiles lately, you have missed something spectacular. We have been to Italy, Switzerland, and now Austria!
This blog is dedicated to our trips, what we learned, how we got along, and what we shared along the journey. We hate to keep all the fun to ourselves, so now we're sharing it with you in hopes that you can join in the fun with us.
